Waterproofing
Waterproofing is a critical part of the construction process and if not done well can be detrimental to the life of the building. WetSuit® family of products supplies a global solution to the needs for waterproofing in nearly every circumstance, whether it is a vertical, horizontal, or below-grade application even split slabs and planter boxes. WetSuit® is a one-stop solution for all the needs of waterproofing of a construction project and brings a high-performance solution. Other successful uses include containment (after confirmation of compatibility with the substances to be contained) and even ponds and fountains, even inside the building WetSuit® is great for shower pan waterproofing.
Vertical Waterproofing (Below Grade or above Grade)

Instant Set
WetSuit®’s two-component mixture gives a rapid set within 3 seconds, allowing any mil thickness to be sprayed vertically without any running or sagging, even taking light rain as soon as it is on the substrate

Monolithic Membrane
The tough, seamless, and fully adhered coating results in a difficult to puncture surface. Water is restricted from lateral migration between the wall and membrane during the back ling process.

WetSuit® remains flexible down to -30°F; ideal at the freeze/thaw line. Also has excellent elongation and recovery.
Horizontal Waterproofing

No Slope Required
The WetSuit® membrane has been used in fountains, planters, and ponds. It has performed well in submerged and wet conditions where contact with water is constant. This type of application is fully warrantable.

With a cold spray applied production of 1500 sq feet per hour with a crew of three and a 250 ft hose-mounted cart for easy access to difficult areas, the WetSuit® membrane is quick and easy to install.

Green Roofs

The WetSuit® membrane has been successfully used in fountains, planters, ponds, and other applications where contact with water is expected. WetSuit® has many features that allow it to be successful in this type of application, including the ability to resist punctures from roots.

Design
Because garden roof design is virtually limitless, each project will be unique and designed to meet specific objectives. The WetSuit® membrane can be installed to any mil thickness in one coat, either horizontally or vertically, allowing freedom of design for the roof deck. Rapid Retrofits
WetSuit® is an ideal system for green roof retrofits, where existing roofs can simply be cleaned and rapidly sealed with the WetSuit® membrane. Often, existing roofs are on the verge of being too old to place a garden roof over. The lightweight WetSuit® membrane can build upon the base of the existing roof, creating a multi-layer, monolithic system, without the need for costly tear-offs, while delivering warranties of up to 20 years.

Air Vapor Barrier
Air Vapor Barriers are a critical portion of the building envelope. This is the component that will protect the building against fungi, mold, and moisture and will help the building to balance allowing enough humidity to exit from the building while halting the external humidity from entering.
The requirements of an Air Vapor Barrier and where it is placed in the wall assembly highly depend on where the building is located and what is the climate. Dryer places like desert surroundings need a permeable Air Vapor barrier, while more humid places need a more impermeable one.

WetSuit® through its flexibility and performance can adapt to the building needs for the full envelope. Simply by varying the application thickness of the membrane, WetSuit® provides a more integrated and homogenous solution to the issues of roofing, air vapor barrier and below-grade waterproofing.

The unique ability and performance of WetSuit® have been used to solve issues such as asbestos encapsulation where the alternative solutions are much more cumbersome and complicated to apply. WetSuit® has demonstrated high performances in the ballistic application, tear resistance, and elongation, which demonstrate its capability to be used in critical projects.
Blast mitigation
Blast mitigation is an obligation for sites and companies dealing with a potentially explosive atmosphere like grain silos and chemical manufacturing facilities. The solutions are often incorporating the reinforcement of structures in order to resist an explosion, making those structures very expensive and not often successful in case of an accident arising.
WetSuit® opens the possibilities of another route by allowing to help much lighter structure support the consequences of an explosion.
The elongation and tensile strength of the WetSuit® allow use for Blast mitigation application and projectile arrest. By applying this product on a wall or on a roof, you can ensure that this structure will better retain its integrity in case of an explosion, earthquake, or failing building materials.
WetSuit® will not only help to maintain the structure, but also minimize the projection of debris that could cause injury or damage to other structures.
The ballistics characteristics of WetSuit® will also absorb the energy of any item projected towards it diminishing or even preventing damage to the substrate below.
This application is particularly efficient for power plants using gas turbines, roofs of silos, etc.

Asbestos encapsulation
Asbestos still represents a major threat for the public health. Despite all the works of asbestos removal, asbestos is still present many warehouses and storage facilities as roof covers or insulation on pipes. As this asbestos has to remain untouched and undisturbed, these are often installations that are no more maintained and are degrading quickly. The degradation may create an additional threat to public health as the exposure of those roofs and insulation to the elements may be sufficient to release fibers in the atmosphere. Furthermore, most of the companies having asbestos in their premises cannot afford the expenses of its removal for many reasons, the main ones being that the cost of removal is far exceeding their capacity of financing and asbestos removal projects are not financeable by bank loans and this removal require the suspension of the activities of the site. This suspension in many cases will mean the death of the company.
Asbestos encapsulation is the solution to this problem. The encapsulation doesn’t require any removal, transport, passivation, or disposal of the asbestos and all the cost associated. This technique consists of encapsulating the asbestos with a protective layer that will isolate it from the elements and any accidental disturbance, preventing any risk of release of fibers into the atmosphere. The protective layer must have the characteristics of water tightness and resistance, good adhesion to the asbestos, and resistance to puncture. Furthermore, this product must be applied with the minimum mechanical impact on the asbestos to avoid any release of fibers during installation, as most of the asbestos roofs or insulation are in a state of advanced fragility.
